Tim has been helping individuals and businesses with their finances, providing tax services and consulting for over 30 years. He is an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA), accredited business accountant (ABA), and experienced business adviser who has helped hundreds of businesses and individuals. In December 2000, he acquired a small Merriam, KS firm to add client base and expand services to local small businesses. Since then, Tim and his staff at TaxesPlus have offered bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, tax services and business consulting for clients in many different industries.

Prachi Shroff, CPA
Prachi has worked in public and private accounting for over 30 years. She prepares and reviews individual, partnership and corporate tax returns. Her background includes real estate accounting and taxation and corporate taxes for most of her career. In addition to working in both large and medium CPA firms, her ability to research, plan, and account for complicated tax issues makes her one of the best CPAs in Kansas City. Prior to her USA career, she worked in public accounting in India for 4 years.

Chelsea Sheahan Harper, CMA, EA, MBA
In addition to preparing individual and corporate returns, Chelsea provides business consulting and financial analysis for small businesses. Her background includes overseeing business accounting functions, preparing budgets, forecasting results and guiding businesses with financial analysis and projecting the tax impact. She previously worked for Cerner Corporation in Kansas City as a financial analyst and held various roles in other small businesses in Nashville, TN. She is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and is an Enrolled Agent (EA) with the IRS.

Rick Sheahan
Rick has spent his career in many different roles that include electronics engineer, accounting supervisor and information system manager before joining TaxesPlus in 2006. He works with small businesses in business consulting, tax guidance and preparation and bookkeeping needs. He has extensive knowledge and teaching experience in Microsoft Office, Inventory management and Sales and Use Tax management. Rick is an active community member as well as a Microsoft Office instructor at Johnson County Community College.

Donna Langer, CPB
With over 24 years of accounting experience, Donna is our in-house Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) and assists our small business clients by providing a range of accounting services and step-by-step advice. She has been at TaxesPlus since 2006 and has experience in multiple industries (service contractors, construction, plumbers, restaurants and media to name a few).

Rita Burrow
Rita is our senior accountant with her main focus on providing payroll to our clients since 2011. She assists our clients from initial processing to meeting payroll filing deadlines. Additionally she prepares income tax returns and manages client accounting. Her background includes 17 years at State Street and 6 years in another local accounting and tax business. She has ample experience in onboarding new clients and can help answer questions throughout the accounting engagement.

We have experienced, loyal and knowledgeable tax preparers on staff each tax season in addition to our full–time staff. Our preparers are required to attend IRS update seminars as well as KS & MO tax law change seminars so that our clients get the best, current tax advice and results available to them. To ensure that we deliver the highest quality of tax return, we review and critique each return throughout the process before delivering the final return to our clients.
